Gifted students (children and adolescents), in scholastic and educational contexts can’t satisfy own interests and needs of knowledge. In the same way these people must deal with social – emotional disease and exclusion from their peer. This disease involves also parents and teachers. Giftedness could generate different risks (major vulnerability, failure and drop-out, retirement and social deviance) but it’s also an excellent opportunity for child e for all society.

LabTalento is operative about these themes to help children and young men, with their families and teachers, to develop their potential in the better way.

The aim of this initiative is to create a «school of talents» to activate continuing courses FROM THE MIND TO THE HEART at CAMPUS OF TALENTS in Pavia ad University.

SCHOOL OF TALENTS:

• Opportunity of meeting and knowing peers with the same cognitive age to support their knowledge and their abilities and to develop soft skills, for example emotional skills or social and relational skills.

Workshop will be proposed in three different areas: cognitive, artistic and social – emotional. Gifted students can choose their own favourite area and choose activities (programming, coding, creative problem solving and musical productions…)

• Opportunity to engage FAMILY to answer better to their own gifted son’s needs, with workshop for support the comparison about childrencare.
• Opportunity to involve actively TEACHERS for organize curricular educational trails
• Opportunity of comparison between experts and teachers through a congress and opportunity of comparison between parents and teachers about PARTNERSHIP PARENT-TEACHER.
