The following information report fulfils the requirements laid down in Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03 (the Privacy Act) which, pursuant to art. 13 requires that concerned parties be informed concerning the processing of their personal data on the management of the Crowfunding platform.
Personal datas provided by persons interested to Universitiamo Project, or acquired for this purpose, will be managed along the same lines as the University of Pavia’s Crowdfunding platform (i.e. modes of donation, information request forms, forums or feedback on single projects and associated institutional activities are involved). The University of Pavia is the Holder of the information as part of its professional duties. The processing of collected personal datas is directed at carrying out activities related to the Universitiamo Project and will be under the control of accountable persons at the University of Pavia and Caffeina s.r.l. which is responsible for maintaining the website. (These persons will be accountable under article 29 of the personal data protection Code).
The processing of collected personal information may also be used for statistical and scientific research, as defined by law and code of conducts. Personal data will NOT be used for commercial activities or marketing. No information will be handed to third parties and information will be only be kept for the duration of the activities in which it is used.
Personal datas will be processed digitally and, in some cases, in paper form but every care will always be taken to prevent data loss, illegal or inappropriate use , or unauthorised access.
Person whose personal data refer personal information are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether such data exists and to find out its contents and origin; to confirm its accuracy; and to request it’s integration or to ask for it to be updated or corrected (article 7 of the personal data protection Code). Under the same article, they have the right to request the cancellation, anonymisation or a block on any illegal use of your information. They may also oppose any use whatsoever provided that you have legitimate reasons.
